The
area around me is the most beautiful part of France and is famous for
its beaches, food; especially seafood freshly caught daily.
Walking,cycling,
riding/trekking, sailing - both power and sail, ferry trips, St Malo
race course are all close by. Together with the beautiful coast, contryside
and chateaux for your enjoyment. Or why not just laze on the beach
or shop!!
There is plenty of
nightlife in Dinard and St. Malo including casinos.
The restaurants are
superb. Pleuruit has bars for a drink and a snack lunch as well as a creperie.
Poubalay, just as close, has a fantastic sea food restaurant - starve
yourself for their sea food platter - and a very upmarket restaurant for
those special occasions.
There is also a great
bar/cafe for music, jazz to blues, on Saturday nights. It has a small
intimate atmosphere and single people are really welcome.
For a day trip why
not go to the Channel Islands from St. Malo - just one hour by ferry -
or catch a train to Paris.
